About HDPE
High Density polyethylene (HDPE) is what gives our plastic its strength and durability. MDI's corrugated plastic maintains physical integrity against breakage, cracking and deterioration, even under extreme environmental and chemical situations. Its regrindable for reuse, and recyclable.
Our proprietary blend of HDPE with Linear-Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) results in a wear surface friction co-effcient with excellent gripping capability. This keeps containers from slipping in transfer or on conveyor belts.
The water resistant nature of plastic means that our products do not degrade when wet. Rain, snow or other exposure to moisture won't affect their integrity.
HDPE's strength and flexibility allows multiple uses in most applications, which drives down cost when compared to paper, cardboard or other plastic products.
Layers
MDI manufactures both double- and single-face products, and provides engineering services, packaging design and finished good production.

Double Faced Product
Two strong outer layers of plastic are co-extruded with a corrugated plastic center core. The inner layer consists of a waved flute that runs horizontally. This design provides added strength to the finished product.
Single Faced Product
The C-Flute corrugation method means an increased strength-to-weight ratio, flexibility and life expectancy. You'll get more strength using the same or less amount of material.
Each layer is extruded separately (rather than all as one with profile board plastics). This provides the design flexibility so many customers require. Sheets can be customized in weight and/or color to meet the most challenging specifications. The result is a cut-able, roll-able, ply-able and weld-able material that lends itself to virtually any application as a substitute for corrugated cardboard, chipboard, profile board and other similar products or construction materials .
Double-face plastic weights range from 110 to 300 pounds/1000 sq. ft. Products can be designed to meet strength, stiffness, load weight or flexibility requirements through standard or custom design.
When a temperature-controlled environment is a customer specification, our product's insulation factor helps prevent heat transfer; protecting the customer's product and offering longer life.
